Banana Bread Pudding with Rum




Ingredients:
3 eggs
4 Tbsp butter melted
3 cups milk
1/2 tsp nutmeg
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/4 tsp salt
2 tsp vanilla extract
6 cups bread diced (french bread works good) Although, all I had at the time was regular bread and it turned out good.
2-3 bananas chopped
2 Tbsp sugar
2 Tbsp Rum (optional)

Preheat oven to 350 degrees
Start by adding the diced bread into 1 cup of milk and let it soak for a few minutes. While that is soaking get out a large mixing bowl and add 3 eggs, the remaining 2 cups of milk, brown sugar, cinnamon, melted butter, nutmeg, salt, rum, and vanilla and whisk together. Now add your bread that has been soaking. Chop bananas and add them to the mixture as well. Grease baking dish and pour into dish. Sprinkle the top with 2 Tbsp sugar before it goes into the oven. Bake at 35o degrees for 40 minutes. Your house will smell AMAZING!
